The ξ /ksi/ cycling rim brake pads were developed completely from the ground up to solve the two biggest frustrations in bike trials: structural pad flex and annoying pad rattle.
Instead of treating brake pads as throwaway plastic items, we engineered a three-part high-performance system: a premium 7075-T651 aluminum backing, a high-precision retaining O-ring, and our custom-formulated polyurethane refills.

1. Ultra-Lightweight 7075-T651 Backings
Our pad backings are precision CNC-machined from aerospace-grade 7075-T651 aluminum alloy. By exploiting the extreme tensile strength of this material, we shaved away every unnecessary millimeter of metal. The result is one of the absolute lightest aluminum backings ever made, delivering maximum structural stiffness without adding unneeded weight to your setup.
2. Anti-Rattle O-Ring Technology
Standard trials pads have loose tolerances, causing them to loudly rattle against the slave cylinder pistons while you ride. We engineered our backings with ultra-close production tolerances and integrated a specialized retaining O-ring right where the pad meets the cylinder piston. This completely dampens vibrations and delivers a silent, rock-solid baseline.
3. Eco-Conscious Refillable Design
When your brake pad compound wears out, you shouldn’t have to throw away a perfectly machined piece of aluminum. The ξ /ksi/ cycling pads are 100% refillable. Once the compound is spent, simply swap out the internal polyurethane insert and if needed replace the rubber O-ring. It is more sustainable for the planet, and significantly cheaper for your wallet over a long riding season.
